WALA: writing to explain how things work.  I explained how sound waves work from an explosion.

A fish story - my bigger Narrative

We practiced narrattive writing again and we used a fish we drew in the morning and you roll a dice and see what to draw then you end up with a fish that's differnt to the others.

We were learning to use differnt and better words.  We can help each other come up with ideas and Miss J writes one up as we go then we use it to help us.

Hi everyone

in the holidays I went to Maccas. What did you doing in the holidays?

My tints and shades art

Last term we started learning about tints and shades
WALA: different ways to change colours

We made an ice-cream so we could do a different colour in each scoop.  We did our own cone and made sprinkles with the hole puncher. and then we stuck a cherry on top.  It was tricky to get the tints lighter than each other by adding the right amount of white and I think I should have put more black in the bottom shade scoop.

We found out that you need to put dry ingedients with dry ingredients and the milk had to go with the Baking Soda.

10 minutes quiet writing by myself - Picture story
